Project Dusk
North Tyneside Sports Development are working in partnership with StreetGames, Widening Horizons, Sport Unlimited and Northumbria Police Grants Award Pool to develop sport within disadvantaged communities and makes sport accessible to young people regardless of their social circumstances.
The new project will be named Project Dusk which engages both community street sessions and volunteer opportunities within the borough from the age of 11yrs - 25 yrs. Project Dusk about teaching young volunteers to deliver sports sessions in their own communities.
The idea of the project is that anyone should not miss out simply because of where they live or how much money they have. Ambition shouldn't be dampened becasue of circumstances.
