Sports Awards 2012
North Tyneside Council's Annual Sports Awards will be held on Thursday 22 March 2012. To nominate an individual, team or club who you feel deserve to be recognised for their sporting achievements throughout 2011.
The Awards will be hosted by Roger Tames at North Tyneside Council's headquarters, the awards celebrate the sporting achievements of individuals and clubs across North Tyneside.
This year we are giving residents the opportunity to play a real part in nominating their favourite local sports stars, as well as helping to recognise the work of our many officials, coaches, and volunteers, that help make local sport happen.

The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 21 December 2011.
Eligibility criteria:
Achievements must have been completed between January 1 and December 21, 2011 (except for the Services to Sport Award). All individuals should reside in North Tyneside and all teams should be based within North Tyneside.
