Top sports personalities in the borough have been honoured at the second North Tyneside Sports Awards.
As part of the council's Widening Horizons 4 Sport initiative, sports performers, clubs, coaches and volunteers were recognised.

It featured an urban street dance routine by Amanda Nicole School of Dance and a demonstration of judo techniques by The Parks Judo Club.
