Performance Analysis - Using Technology in Coaching

Thursday 15 March 2012 -> Thursday 15 March 2012

Tyne Met College in partnership with Tyne and Wear Sport, have organised a Performance Analysis - Using Technology in Coaching workshop in March.

The Technology and Coaching course will look at how modern technology, primarily iPads and iPhones can be used to help coaches analyse the performance of a team/individuals in a non time-consuming manner.

Date: Thursday 15 March 2012

Venue: Tyne Met College (Coast Road Campus)

Time: 6-8pm

During the workshop delegates will look at a whole host of applications which have a variety of uses from breaking down skills and techniques to aid development, to collating data within a match. Attendees will have the chance to look at approximately 8-10 different applications. You will then be able to discuss the various uses for them and have a go at testing the applications to analyse performance.

The session will last between 1 and a half hours to 2 hours. Coaches do not need to have an iPad or iPhone to be able to attend as there will be some available for use during the event, but those who do own one or both are encouraged to bring them along. Delegates will also be given a pack detailing all of the information discussed during the session to take away with them.
