As part of the Widening Horizons 4 Sport initiative a 5k Family Fun Run is taking place at the Rising Sun Sports Ground. The run is open to all ages and abilities, the route is based on the bridle paths around the Rising Sun Country Park. Every child that takes part in the run will receive a free goodie bag, free water will also be provided.

Date: Saturday 25th September 2019

Time: Arrive at 9.00am for a 10.00am

Where: Rising Sun Sports Ground, Wallsend

Entry Fee: £5 per child, free entry for parents and carers
